In Amsterdam I visited an exhibition of Japanese photographer, Daido Moriyama. He shows the darker side of urban living, noted for his photos depicting the breakdown of traditional Japanese values in post-war Japan.

Some photos I have taken with my old film camera from the 80’s around London. 

I swear, I am getting more and more ginger. 

Using this little guy to take some photos out and about, my little Pentax film camera from the 80’s. I’m not claiming to be any good at taking photos but I am totally in love with the photos it takes (no need for Instagram for that vintage feel). Half the fun is the excitement to see how they turn out!

Today I went to the World Press Photo Exhibition in Amsterdam, some really harrowing stuff and all taken place over a single year. Work from all media platforms and a wide range of genres exhibited. The most incredible, honest and raw photos I have ever seen. If it’s in your area check it out, truly incredible.
